RFID credentials for eco-lodges

Build the lower-plastic credential without inventing a claim.

We manufacture paper-fibre cards, wooden cards and woven wristbands as physical alternatives to conventional plastic formats, with every material statement limited to what the approved construction can support.

Decision framework

The substrate comes first; the environmental sentence follows it.

An eco-lodge credential still has to work at the installed reader, carry durable artwork and arrive in usable condition. Material character does not override those requirements, and a natural appearance is not evidence of a certification or end-of-life outcome.

Remote or low-volume receiving makes pack size, moisture protection and reorder discipline especially important. We build those controls into the order rather than attaching a broad sustainability story to a generic card.

Paper-fibre, wood and woven formats are not substitutes

A paper-fibre card provides a printable, card-like format for dry handling. A wooden card uses a distinct natural surface and edge character. A woven band is a wearable body whose closure, comfort and embedded module require their own proof. We present them as different manufactured products, not as interchangeable “eco” options.

Card dimensions remain CR80, 85.6 × 54 mm, where the chosen construction is approved for the application. The credential may be 125 kHz LF or 13.56 MHz HF/NFC only when the installed system supports it.

Claims are locked to evidence with the artwork

We do not add a certification mark, recycled percentage, compostability statement or disposal instruction unless current evidence belongs to the exact supplied construction. The proof shows the environmental wording alongside the material and finish so it cannot drift into a broader promise during design review.

Natural fibres, wood grain and recycled-looking surfaces vary visually. The approved sample establishes the acceptable direction; it does not create a guarantee that every unit will carry identical grain or fleck placement. Packing references preserve the approved material name through dispatch, preventing a receiving label from replacing precise construction language with an unsupported environmental slogan. The retained sample also anchors later reorder inspection.

Moisture protection continues through island receiving

Fibre and wooden products are packed for dry transit and counted in labelled inner units. The receiving record identifies who will inspect cartons and move them into protected storage. If goods must wait with a third-party receiver, that handoff is named rather than assumed.

The packing list uses factual product descriptions and quantities. Any origin or material document supplied with the shipment must match the finished goods; a marketing description is not used as a customs classification or certificate.

Small properties still need a controlled production reference

The minimum order is 500 pieces per design. We can keep the artwork restrained and the pack divisions practical for a lodge, but we do not hide the design minimum by combining unrelated properties or variants into an invented total.

For reorders, the lodge confirms the approved material, artwork version, quantity and destination. We also ask whether storage conditions or reader equipment changed, because a beautiful repeat is still the wrong order if the operating context moved on.

When this product direction is wrong

Paper-fibre cards are wrong for a credential expected to stay wet, bend repeatedly or live against the body through water activities. Wooden cards are wrong where very tight visual uniformity is more important than the honest variation of a natural surface.

A material-led credential is also wrong if the lodge expects an unsupported certification statement to carry the project. We would supply a more conventional, technically confirmed product with accurate wording rather than manufacture a weaker claim into the artwork.

Bring the system.
We will narrow the product.

Start with the property, use case, destination and what is known about the installed access environment.

Three controls before release. Each stage is reviewed separately so an attractive product direction never substitutes for technical or operational confirmation.
