We manufacture RFID cards and controlled-wear wristbands in labelled batches for terminal, operator and event handoffs, without assuming that an onboard credential belongs in a shoreside reader.
A terminal order starts with the physical credential and its custody path.
The product may be a CR80 access card, a woven band with a controlled closure, or a silicone wearable intended for repeated issue. Each format creates a different packing, storage and recovery task before any passenger reaches a checkpoint.
Cruise operations can involve an operator, a terminal receiver and a separate local delivery contact. We build the shipment record so the approved product, carton reference and accountable receiver remain connected through those handoffs.
The card or band is specified for one defined terminal role
For cards, the standard physical platform is CR80 at 85.6 × 54 mm and 0.76 mm. For wristbands, we confirm body material, closure, size direction and embedded credential separately. Either product can be supplied for 125 kHz LF or 13.56 MHz HF/NFC environments when the supported technology is documented.
We mark the intended role in the production brief: staff access, contractor access, day admission, an event zone or another defined function. The brief does not say “cruise compatible” as though every ship and terminal shared one technical environment.
Batch identity survives artwork and variable-data production
A 500-piece minimum applies per design. If a terminal requires different visual classes, dates or operating teams, each approved version is recorded and counted separately. Numbering or variable data is checked against the customer-supplied range before it reaches print or encoding.
The proof identifies fixed artwork, variable fields and any human-readable fallback. That distinction prevents a late design correction from silently changing a sequence that has already been allocated to an access file.
Cartons are labelled for custody, not for decoration
Finished units can be packed by issue point, operating team or approved sequence. Labels use the receiving reference provided for the shipment, and the packing list repeats the same divisions. This lets the terminal receiver quarantine a damaged carton or route one batch without losing control of the rest.
If a shipment is consolidated with other property orders, the terminal batch remains physically separated. The commercial invoice and packing list identify the actual goods; they do not rely on an internal campaign name that a broker or receiving desk cannot interpret. Seal references can be recorded at dispatch when the receiving procedure requires an intact-carton check.
Unused stock and returns are part of the product decision
Reusable cards and silicone bands require a defined route back from the issue point. Single-use or controlled-wear products require an instruction for unused stock and a decision on whether a closure may be transferred. Those controls determine how we count and pack the order.
A later reorder refers back to the approved product specification and variable-data record. We still ask the operator to confirm the receiving party and system requirement, because terminal arrangements can change while artwork remains identical.
When this product direction is wrong
A reusable silicone band is wrong for a short terminal activation when no collection or cleaning workflow exists. A decorative fabric band with an open or easily reversible closure is wrong where visible transfer control is part of the operating requirement.
An onboard credential is not automatically the right terminal product. If the shoreside equipment and accountable technical team cannot confirm support, we keep the terminal credential separate or stop the line rather than infer compatibility from the passenger journey.
